A long time passion of mine is coming true!
...but our planet is sick
You may or may not know but the fashion industry accounts for tons of gallons of water waste due to garment techniques and dyes that make water undrinkable. Our industry has also cultivated wasteful habits in our customers. Leading to billions of clothing dumped in our landfills every year! Luckily some fashion companies like Levi's, Eileen Fisher, and now ShoptheKei make it our mission to do better by making quality products that last longer and developing techniques to change the way fashion is produced.
We are saving the planet with fashion!
With the state of our planet's health issues, I always wanted to give back to mother earth in my own unique way. Ive researched 'Eco Friendly Clothing' brands to get an idea how we can become a part of the movement. The Eco community is booming (whew) and for wonderful reasons! More people want to help our planet survive. Its the only one we have!
Tis the season for parties, toasts, + gifts
We created an eco-friendly clothing collection using rescued fabrics. A portion of your purchase from this collection will benefit Women In Need; (also know as Win) provides safe housing and critical services to help homeless women and their children rebuild their lives and break the cycle of homelessness. My team and I have gathered every salvaged fabric cutting in our work rooms to create beautiful quilts that we will donate to children living in shelters. No fabrics will be wasted and children will be cozy this winter.
It starts with a seed
This year, we partnered with One Tree Planted to provide much needed trees in areas impacted most by massive forest loss. Learn more about how your puchase contributes to saving our forests and farmlands. In the spring of 2020, our goal is to plant 2,000 trees. I plan to combine forces with some bad ass earth conscious (eco) boss babes to cultivate new ways in which we can all benefit from giving back to saving the environment. If this holiday's eco friendly clothing collection is successful, our team is very excited to design more earth conscious fashion. Ultimately, we want to promote good habits, limit waste, and help to create a more beautiful planet for our babies to grow up.
How you can help
If you cannot afford our product, a simple share, tag or friendly comment will go a long way to encourage positivity during this journey. If you are able to donate, please visit Women in Need to help homeless mothers and their babies with your contribution. Plant a tree seed in your home this fall. When its big enough (and warm enough) plant your tree outside. Reduce, reuse, recycle.
