Mom OOTD - Yellow
Just before the rain hits our side of town, I ran outside to show you my electric outfit of the day! Its my Mom OOTD because I don't want to look like Ive been hiding indoors with a toddler, singing nursery rhymes, while Nick Jr diminishes my adulthood.
Why I love this outfit
On a dreary, wet day like today, this brightly flowing dress was exactly what I needed. Like a jolt of caffeine, the yellow is a wake up call amongst everyone else wearing blacks and browns. I like neutrals but this dress sings to me. If you're booed up with your toddler all day like me, you may forget just how much a hot mom you really are. For me, it was time to exfoliate myself from the cardigan + t-shirt combo and reintroduce myself to ME! I love this Mom OOTD because its sexy but not raunchy. The soft, sheer fabric is light but not see through.
Since its a little chilly out, I chose to wear this dress with black leggings + sleek combat boots. With the leopard print, this Mom OOTD makes me feel like a rockstar!
Mom style doesn't have to consist of the same 3 pieces everyday. Switch it up, surprise your kids, and wear that outfit you never thought you could pull off. Because you will surprise yourself with how great you really look. Try something new.
